A group of vaccinated Israelis that flew to Iceland for vacation have contracted the coronavirus, N12 reported late Sunday night.
Few were taken for medical care in local hospitals after their symptoms worsened, the report noted, adding that the estimation is that one of them contracted COVID on the flight and it spread to the rest of the group from there.
At least 30 cases were reported as of Monday, among them one is in moderate condition, one is in serious condition and one is in critical condition.

Harel insurance announced on Monday evening that it was sending a rescue flight to bring the Israelis in moderate and serious condition back to Israel. A medical team of three doctors and a paramedic will be on the flight which will be equipped with medical equipment.
New travel restrictions came into effect on Monday, saying that all travelers have to isolate when returning from abroad unless they are arriving from yellow-listed countries.
Yellow countries include: Hong Kong, Hungary, Taiwan, Moldova, New Zealand, China, Singapore, and the Czech Republic.
The list of red countries has been cut down and now consists of Bulgaria, Brazil, Georgia, Mexico, Spain, and Turkey.
